Product description
From an author who is one of the most highly regarded figures in the Christian healing ministry, comes a selection of prayers and reflections for those facing any kind of difficulty in their lives. Compassionate, realistic and careful to avoid holding out any false promises, it is especially, though not exclusively, focused on the needs of the many people whose lives are restricted by loneliness, age or infirmity. Scripture readings, selections from spiritual writings, reflections and prayers are arranged around themes that arise out of a sense of loneliness or isolation. These include: Contentment; Family; Friends; Fears; Restrictions; The future; and many more, drawn out of a lifetime's pastoral ministry.

Product Reviews

'This is an excellent little book...Among all the qualities of this book, the depth of John's wisdom, the simplicity of his aproach, and the practical value of the resources stand out: buy a boxful and give copies to your non-Christian and Christian friends alike'. Adrian Chatfield, Ridley Hall
