In order to make certain Hymns Ancient & Modern and Canterbury Press hymn and service books available at the lowest possible cost to parishes, schools, chapels, and others, the Council of Hymns Ancient & Modern Ltd may make a grant based on 25% of the books ordered, subject to a minimum of 20 copies (in any combination of editions). The grant is given in free books - for example, if you order 100 copies of Ancient & Modern Words Edition you pay for only 75.
All grants will be made at the discretion of the Council of Hymns Ancient & Modern Ltd on completion of the application form below. Terms and conditions are subject to variation at any time.
Revised English Hymnal (REH) - full music edition and words only are now published; other editions to follow early 2025. For more information on REH visit reh.hymnsam.co.uk
REH sampler is available for any church, school or other organisation looking to adopt REH.

Terms and conditions
The grant is calculated on 25% of the total value of your order and supplied in free books (rounded to the nearest book). The minimum order is 20 copies, in any combination of editions. A completed grant application form needs to be supplied.
International orders: the 25% grant is available on completion of a Grant form and pre-payment including postage costs. A pro-forma invoice can be supplied on request. Contact us for details

Do not send payment with this application. An invoice will be included with your books, but please contact the Norwich office if you require a quotation prior to dispatch of the books.

GOLD OR SILVER LETTERING
We can personalise your hymn or prayer books with the name of your church, school, organisation, your own initials or other brief message for a small additional charge. We hold Times and Univers typefaces and gold and silver foil in stock - other styles and colours can be obtained at extra cost. Crests or simple designs can be added subject to sight of copy. Please remember that very small detail may not reproduce well. All lettering etc can only be added to standard cover designs. Special layouts may be considered in the event of a reprint of a particular title, and we have been notified in advance of specific requirements.
Setting up lettering and making ready blocking machine £ 60.00 (+ VAT where applicable) - for re-blocking subsequent orders - 25% discount. Blocking (per copy for up to 2 lines) £0.35p (+ VAT where applicable).
